GETAC PS236 to urządzenie z gatunku handheld. Wyposażone jest w odbiornik GPS wysokiej czułości, kompas, wysokościomierz, modem HSDPA, Wi-fi oraz aparat fotograficzny. Dzięki tak bogatemu wysposażeniu PDA doskonale sprawdza się w zastosowanicah GIS - wykonane zdjęcie może mieć zapisane dane o miejescu jego wykonania ( współrzędne, wysokość itd ).
PDA PS236 podobnie jak pozostałe porodukty GETACA posiada bardzo wytrzymałą, szczelną obudowę ( IP67 ). Jest odporne na upadki z wysokości 1.2m na beton i może działać w temperaturach od -30°C do 60°C.
